Fishing Galveston Texas East Bay and the Surrounding  Bays Areas

Picture yourself on the emerald green waters of East Bay with a beautiful golden-orange sunrise emerging on the distant horizon. Spotting that big Bull-Red or 30-inch Speckled Trout you have been seeking for years. We stalk your catch ever so quietly sneaking upon it in my 24-foot Carolina Skiff as you cast your bait or lure.

The fish rolls, the bait jumps in the air and water boils as the fish explodes in the water and devours your bait. You rare back the rod and set your hook into the fish, GAZAAM what a strike!

Sound like a dream?  No it can be a reality when you fish with Capt. Larry Allen's Salty Dawg Guide Service.

Larry Allen's Salty Dawg Guide Service

The shallow waters surrounding Galveston Island and the Bolivar area offer some of the finest saltwater fishing on the Texas Gulf coast. I have some of the most experience you will find fishing and bird watching in the area.

I will guide you in the Galveston Bay Complex for Trout, Flounder, Redfish and other fine species with bait casting rods, tackle and can usually put my clients on fish of their choice.

Your Charter Boat

A 2005 24 foot Carolina Skiff completely rigged for shallow bay fishing. The boat's draft is 3-6 inches and will allow us to get into the shallow areas to find the reds feeding along the grass lines. The boat has a extremely quiet 140 horsepower Suzuki four-stroke engine.  I keep the boat on a trailer and can launch from any number of places around the Galveston Bay area.

Galveston Island

Galveston Island and the surrounding bay areas are a fishermen’s paradise in that you can bring the family to enjoy the many amenities as well as the wonderful sandy beaches.  The sun shines most of the time and the average temperature ranges from 85 in the summer to about 55 in the winter. Galveston Island area holds numerous record catches for trout, flounder, redfish and tarpon.
